Every Montanan NEEDS their proper care!
Every Montanan NEEDS their proper care!

In rural communities, healthcare isn’t just about health—it’s about survival, both physically and financially.

When care is far away, families delay treatment.

When treatment is delayed, conditions worsen.

And when conditions worsen, costs skyrocket.

That cycle is one of the biggest hidden drivers of unaffordability in Montana.

We need to rethink how we approach healthcare—not just as a service, but as a cost-saving necessity.

Keeping healthcare local and accessible means:

• Fewer emergency situations

• Lower long-term medical costs

• Less travel, time off work, and financial strain

For many families, a single medical event can mean:

• Missed paychecks

• Travel expenses

• Unexpected bills that take years to recover from

That’s not sustainable—and it’s not acceptable.

We should be focused on:

• Protecting and strengthening rural healthcare facilities

• Supporting providers who serve our communities

• Expanding access to preventative care

Because when people can get the care they need—when they need it—we don’t just improve health outcomes…

We make life more affordable.
